SLNR-based Secure Energy Efficient Beamforming in Multibeam Satellite Systems

Motivated by the fact that both security and energy efficiency are fundamental requirements design targets of future satellite communications, this letter investigates secure efficient beamforming in multibeam systems, where user each beam is surrounded an eavesdropper attempting to intercept confidential information. To simultaneously improve transmission reduce power consumption, our objective maximize system secrecy (SEE) under constraint total transmit budget. Different from existing schemes with high complexity, we propose alternating optimization scheme address SEE problem decomposing original nonconvex into subproblems. Specifically, first utilize signal-to-leakage-plus-noise ratio (SLNR) metric obtain closed-form normalized weight vectors, while successive convex approximation (SCA) method used efficiently solve allocation subproblem. Then, iterative algorithm proposed suboptimal solutions. Finally, simulation results provided verify superiority compared benchmark schemes.
